This is another high-waisted dress from the Regency Period. This pattern
has a crossover bodice with pleated short sleeves and a shaped gored shirt with the optional train extension.
This design has better bodice coverage than the Empire Dress design. During the Regency period these
dresses would be made so sheer that many women developed pneumonia during the winter due to the lack
of warmth. The Spencer Jacket (Number 128), the Overcoat (Number 129), and Muff (Number 130) finally came to the aid
of these poor women! (What we do for style!)
